We're in the 5th year of our protein program and we're seeing marked improvement throughout the herd. These guys can really put down some protein. We're averaging about 1000 pounds a week since Feb.

How many acres are you feeding 1000 lbs/week?

Just shy of 2300 acres. We have just over 4000# of capacity in our feeders and we have to refill every 4 weeks. We're thinking of upgrading to some bigger feeders but I think they would just eat more and we would still be refilling every 4 weeks.

It's nice when it works the way it's supposed to. Congrats on the stud group!
