I didn't trap him, he trapped himself in the cage. That is the first time I've had one do that to them self. That feeder has the cage and an Eliminator plate so I don't think he could get any corn but he sure was trying.

It did stink to high heaven but the deer didn't seem to mind. According to pics they just ate the corn around him and never missed a morning or afternoon.
