what have you not killed?

Pronghorn is fun but its pretty easy. if you like to shoot long range its a great game animal. Great animal to get your feet wet in terms of western big game animals.

Aoudad is one of my favorite game animals. Best place to hunt them imo is Spot and stalk in the Trans Pecos. Shots can get long as well, and the terrain can be challenging physically. Normally found in remote areas and the scenery is rugged but beautiful. Not a great tasting animal in most peoples opinions so its more of a trophy hunt.

I've not hunted Nilgai but I've been on ranches that have them and seen quite a few. Best areas are deep south texas like the Kingsville, Falfurrias and Raymondville areas. You can either spot and stalk them or Shoot them from a top drive, which is popular. Big ranch country so you can cover alot of ground every day. Big animals but they taste delicious so if you want a large meat haul a Nilgai is a great animal for that.

Never hunted any of them. Just something different, Aoudad and Pronghorn are beautiful trophies. I'd have go European skull on the Nilgai and buy a chest freezer for the garage.

I'd either go Pronghorn or Aoudad first then.

Nilgai is something you can hunt at almost any age

Pronghorn is a great hunt. And you might get to stretch out one of those $$$ rifles you keep building.

That, and pronghorn is great table fare. I prefer it to whitetail.

Already checked Aoudad off my list and not sure if I want a Pronghorn.....but Nilgai is definitely on my list. After my daughter graduates this year and heads off to college, I'll be finding or building a new home with vaulted ceilings for big critters like Nilgai and Elk. Aoudad will definitely be a tougher/physical hunt if you go out west. I shot mine north of Del Rio in the Devils River area. I believe there's a member her that goes by Cuz that has some places with free range aoudad out by Possum Kingdom. Trophy Case Taxidermy mounted mine.

Buzz ,
Of the hunts you listed they are all good hunts but Pronghorn would be my favorite of the three and as said you could stretch one of those nice rifles you have out .
As for me I have been going back and forth with myself on a Moose hunt before I get any older . I want to go but I cant zero in on where I would want to go . I would love the Yukon but the latest fancy of mine is in Russia .
Good luck on your choice . You cant go wrong on any of them .

Free range Aoudad is going to be a physically demanding hunt because of the altitude and terrain.

Yes, I couldn't climb the Trans Pecos mountains anymore. Ran them hard around Van Horn, Sierra Blanca back in the early 80's. I i would need a "high rack" hunt or high fence.

Kamchatka has the biggest moose in the world, but the travel logistics are greater and you have to travel to Russia.

I think i would look at pronghorn with a bow, out of those listed. Maybe Nilgai with a bow. Not too interested in Aoudad right now, maybe one day though
