Last weekend went on a kayak trip with my boy and nephew. Good sign, right? That's when things took a turn for the worse. He strung the cat up as instructed, but when the stringer wouldn't go all the way into the rocky ground, my boy raised his foot up, and stopped on the stringer as hard as he could. Yep. Through his shoe and into his foot. He said that he needs to wear tougher shoes. I said " NO!! THE LESSON IS QUIT USING YOUR FOOT AS A M FING HAMMER!!"

He is doing much better now. The antibiotics that the hospital gave us were not strong enough, so w ended up back at the Dr to get stronger antibiotics. After a few days on the antibiotics, the swelling is down, and the fever is gone. He should be back at 100% in a few days.
