Stopped at the Rosa's in Highland Village for lunch today with the wife, teenage son and teenage daughter. Not a place we commonly eat at but more somewhere every 3 months or so. The wife, daughter and I split the beef fajita fiesta meal; 12 tortillas, sides of rice and beans, guacamole, shredded cheese, sour cream and about 1.5lbs of beef fajitas. Pico de Gallo and salsa to boot. For $30+++, pretty tasty and plenty of food, in my mind much better than Taco Cabana.

While they are better than TC, the prices on their entrees have gotten out of control. I can get more food and free chips for equal or less money at On The Border, El Fenix, El Chico, and many others.

However, their family meals are a good deal. Don't sleep on their breakfast, either-good stuff. Get the spicy beans.

Yep their prices used to be hard to beat for college kids, I haven’t visited one since ‘06.

Looks good for $30.00 DQ up

Tried them twice. Our conclusion was an obvious you get what you pay for, we have not been back since.

I always ate the tortillas with lots of butter and rolled up jalapenos inside.

I grew up eating Rosa's in Odessa. I feel old saying this, but I remember being about to eat lunch there in high school for less than $6. I can't eat nearly as much as I could then and I drop $12-15 in a hurry for lunch there these days.

Their breakfast platters are A+.

I remember party on the patio Tuesday nights in Odessa. $1 longnecks and $1 fajitas. I love Rosas!

I remember driving by the one on West County Rd on Tuesday nights and seeing that in the mid to late 90s.

Chile Verde with eggs and a side of chorizo beans was my standard breakfast order.

The only people I know that like to eat Rosa's are people that can eat their weight in flour tortillas. Not for me, but I guess it would do in a crunch.

It's the same as it's always been. I don't like Corpus, at all. The drivers in CC are the worst in the entire Country.

When I used to eat carbs I ate there quit a bit.

Get that with extra cheese and extra peppers, have them hold the beans and sour cream and it a pretty good nacho.

The tamales are pretty good as well, I don't really care for the rest of the menu.. It's too plain jane and not really authentic tasting
