Anytime during the season for Zone C. Check TPWD. It's much shorter on the coast.

Thanks. I am aware of the dates; I was wondering if there was any advantage to waiting or if I should go as soon as it opens.

Like anything else, they get wiser with hunting pressure. I,d go within the first 3-4 weeks. Avian Skies, Jake Huddleston and Flatlined Outfitters are solid in the area.
Life,s better in waders

Thx I hunted with Flatlined outfitters last year and had a good hunt; I’ll probably go that way again. Appreciate the info
