I'm never hunt before and know nothing about the hunting. I been read a lot of how to and tip.
My first APH permit will be this Aug-2020-2021
I like to start of the Dove season but I'm start getting nerves, which how and where to start.
Hoping some hunter on here willing let me tag along I will help to pay for the cost. I'm very appreciation.
Or may giving some direction and detail how Do I get in to this sport. Thank you.

Minh

Welcome! You might look in to mentored hunt programs.

https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/hunt/public/mentored_hunting_workshops/

Texas Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is also a resource and will be offering mentored hunts as well. Or you may find someone in that community to tag along with, maybe through their facebook page.

Best of luck to you and learning and enjoying the addiction!

Be sure to start with your hunters education smile The NRA one is accepted in Texas. The course itself is free, but they do charge the mandatory Texas fee and transmit that to the proper Texas authority.

Awesome. Don't forget to checkout the TPWD Draw hunts. The deadline for the first draws is only days away - Which includes some private land dove hunts (since you said you were interested in starting with Dove).
