Just pulled the plug on Manchu Picchu. The Peruvian government is gonna open up the country but are gonna enforce a 14 day quarantine! We only planned on staying 11 days so there goes that.

Gonna get my hotel refund back in 4 weeks, and flights back in 8 weeks. 2020 sucks!

On my way to the James River in Missouri now. Staying in a cabin. Got tickets to the aquarium at the big bass pro and a few shows in Branson. Kids gonna love it.

My March PHilippines was cancelled, moved to June, that got canned. I had booked a August trip long time ago, looks like that one will get canned.

They are not issuing visas upon arrival with a US passport and you have to do at least 14 day quarantine if you could get in country.

I cancelled my Christmas Vacation to Cancun early in the year, It's been a over a year since I have had a vacation

I cancelled my trip to miami beach for August 6th. The big rise in cases there Im worried they are going to shut down the beaches and they already are requiring wearing masks at all times which would suck on the beach. So, cancelled it.

MY next planned trip is to Washington DC in September, Im hoping that the Smithsonian museums are open by then as thats why we are going.

We were there in March the week they closed along with closing congress. Still got to see a lot of them.

Lake LBJ was financially humbling. Really nice there. Got there Thursday and returned this day. Left the property only when on the boat. Very lil' TV and the younger generation stayed off their phones. The woman won some meaningless word game competition while wifeypoo and myself took down the Lake LBJ 42 Championship. Had a blast.

We’re going to wherever el dorado royale is. Not Cabo side. Cancun I think. We’re not fishing this trip but I’ve heard it’s not great in Cancun anyway.

Yeah, I put it on steroids.

Still blustery but quite the difference this. Morning. Hope it blows out soon so I can enjoy the full extent of my risk aversion venture.

Sir Richard pulled just behind. The Necker Belle is beautiful. His cat is about as wide as ours is long.

Flight, and hotel refunds already hit the bank. It took less then 2 weeks for both.

Heading down to Rockport his weekend. When the wife and I planned the trip we were going to take a boys,(ages 2 and 4) to the beach. However due to the current state of affairs, that's out of the question. Looks like that will leave more time for fishing. grin

Just got back from our trip to Durango/Purgatory area. Flew into New Mexico and drove up. Rented Jeeps, hiked, fished, rode the train, enjoyed the cooler weather, and most importantly, spent time with the family. On the way back, stayed the night in Santa Fe and flew out the following day. We did wear our masks when out and about in NM and the towns in Colorado.. my choice to step inside these places of business where we were asked to put one on. The crowds in general were low. Train was only at half capacity but also only went 2 hours north vs 4. The planes were pretty vacant too... ah well, we had a good time.. we’re all well and rested.

Looks like our Bora Bora trip is going to get canned. I'm riding it out as long as I possibly can, but we are bummed -- first trip without kids in a long [censored] time
