Grain sorghum or milo was what we called it. Some hay varieties are types of sorghum, like Red Top Cane or Hybrid Sudan, etc.

Yup....I’ve heard all those names over the years depending on wheres ya was.....grain sorghum, milo, and maze were all common

Maze= corn
Maize= milo/sorghum in few places.

Sudan and haygrazer (a sorghum/Sudan mix) will be much taller with less grain on head.
