Back about 10 yrs ago there was a man that would set up a booth at Somerville trade/flea market and he bought shed antlers by the pound. I know my neighbor sold his elk sheds to him when I lived over in that area south of there. Not sure if he still buys them or not. There also was a guy up DFW area that bought shed antlers and antlers still on skull caps. He bought and paid for them by the pound also. I will have to see if I can find his contact info or make a call to a friend. You may check on Craiglist or Ebay for a buyer also.

Elk sheds used to sell for more than WT or MD sheds sell for, 50% or more higher in price. They weigh much more and used to be in high demand.

That is about what they were 10 yrs ago. Using for furniture and home decor is going to drive the market today. If you can find a furniture maker that has a use for them then that would be your best money I would think. According to this site, prices are down this year on all antlers.

I also have a friend that builds antler chandeliers and furniture for over 30 years out of E. TX , he would probably be a good/decent buyer for you!
I actually drove with him in a van to Chama, NM to buy a bunch back in 1989 I think?

Just got off the phone with him and he is a buyer up to a 1,000 lbs at $12.00 lb for fresh Elk sheds
He is also giving me some for my mutt so I am good.
