I recently got a great deal on a 2008 Yamaha Drive. My brothers lifted it and got it all ready to hunt. At first, I was getting a sound when braking that sounds like a ratchet strap being tightened. Now, it makes the sound not only when braking, but as soon as you let off the accelerator. I've looked online but haven't been able to find any answers. I'm not sure if it a speed controller issue or axle bearings. Other than basic vehicle maintenance, I'm pretty much mechanically ineffective. Does this sound familiar to anybody? Thanks.

Check to see if the cart has regenerative braking. That uses rolling momentum to help charge the batteries when you coast and are not under power.

If you don't get a solution go to Buggies gone wild website.
