We're covered up with peaches and strawberries and the wife whipped out the ice cream maker and told me to get to work. Any suggestions for turning the harvest into tasty ice cream would be GREATLY appreciated grin

An easy one, 2 cup of chopped up peaches, can of Eagle Brand, a pint of half and half, dumped in the ice cream freezer, fill any leftover space with milk. Turn it on. We add no sugar, if you want to add sugar, keep it at a half cup or less.

For a change of "Pace", add a little of the juice of a lime or lemon, not a lot, and finely chopped jalapeno that has been deveined and seeded. Just a little "heat" not a lot.

Yep - we marinate the coarse cut peaches overnight in water and just a bit of sugar. The paddle will break down the chunks.

Make up a quart of finely chopped peaches and strawberries, sugar them to taste, cover and fridge overnight. Stir occasionally. I’m assuming you have a six quart machine. Add two quarts of half n half, and stir in two cups of sugar. Stir in your chopped peaches and strawberries. Leave plenty of headspace as it will almost double in size as it freezes.

Enjoy

I haven’t tried it yet but it seems overly simple and I will eventually.

No offense to the person who shared it, but it was a no go for me, came out like eating a stick of sweet vanilla flavored butter.
