Anybody bought one from this guy. It’s an aluminum frame which should last forever and price is reasonable. In the market for a 4X6 with at least a 6 ft tower. Open to other suggestions including used....Price range is $2K tops and lm in the Houston area
Looks good, from what I can see on their Facebook page. I'm always leery of a place that can't manage a website though. I'm in the same boat as you. I could use 2 to 3 blinds.

Check out this guy in Sealy. He just delivered two to me - a 4' stand and a 6' stand. Time will tell but I'm really happy with these so far. http://www.texascedarshop.com/
He's got a decent website. Nice guy on the phone. He's in Conroe....one of y'all should go look at them and give us a report. I want one but can't pull the trigger without looking at one, closest one to me is Tyler.

Some of the guys on the lease have them. They are very light and can be set up by two people. I wouldn’t say they are finished out to the T, but they are still better than a ranch king or Atascosa in my opinion. They say the owner is very nice.
Actually just went over to the shop today to look at a couple and work a deal out with him. From what I see, the blinds are well constructed and pretty light weight. Good guys to talk with
I pulled the trigger a 4x6 last year and hunted out of it all of last season. Good blind, little tight with the shelves and I added an over head shelf just to put pack and stuff I wanted out of the way.
I’m happy with my purchase but really wished I would’ve listened to my gut and bought the 6x6.

We bought three of the 4X6’s in January. Matt was easy to work with and delivered to Rocksprings. We had the door moved to the 6’ side and left off the shelve on the remainder of that side. It gives a little more room.
Put my two 4x6 blinds up a couple weeks ago. Easy to set up and once the i removed the shelf from the back wall, plenty of room for hunting. 6x6 would have been no problem.

I'm curious Judd as to why you would now go with a 6x6 over the 4x6? I've found those wider blinds cause me to move around more to be able to see out each side. my current blind and one I used many years is 4X5 and still comfortable for up to 2 people.
Anyone know if there is a dealer for these blinds in the SA/NB area?
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
Quick Update: The 4x6 blind is now $1750 not counting, tax, so for easy math if tax was 10% that is another $175.
So the cost is just a little less than $1925 not counting shipping. The cost to have it brought up to Dallas was going to be about $200 for me.
Total is now close to $2100. I could drive down there and pick it up but I live way north of Dallas and the total drive time would be about 12-16 hours and the gas would surely cost me $200.
I like the blinds, wish I was real close, and Matt seems easy to work with but I have been looking at another blind that is very comparable IMO.
I just wanted all of you to understand how prices have gone up and to understand the total cost. Just an fyi.

Main reason….this blind feels smaller because the shelf and it not being a true 4x6. The shelf is a requirement for me so that’s not a complaint about the shelf.
There are a few weekends every season where I end up with 3 and it’s TIGHT with three in there. Two is pretty nice but there is no room for a tripod and I’d like to take my spotting scope at times. So while I’m aware of your big comment…it would be nice to have the extra room and would offset that too big when I’d be by myself.

THanks Judd Appreciate the feedback

ILUV, I agree on some too big. I always say, I dont want to call a taxi to go from one side of blind to another. I think a 6x6 would not be too big but everyone is different and certainly with multiple people you have to factor that in. I always want a blind "big enough for two without being too big for one." As for a 4x6, I never ever want the dimension "4foot" anywhere on my blind. Just too tight. Especially on a 4x6 if you are facing the 4' direction, there just isnt enough room for your legs and if the animal is on the opposite side from a second person thats the shooter, then good luck switching place in 4' blind. Anyone that hunts out of a 4x8 is just WAY different from me(understandable if lots of folks in there.) We have two fiberglass that are 5.5 x 5.5 and I think thats perfect if going square. Ideally I like hexagon, octagon or round. My favorites are ones I designed and had built that are round and about 6' across. And, yes, shelving does make a difference in useable space but I really really want shelves(many.)
