Ideally it will become a slow moving minimal class storm that dumps 4-6 inches of rain. We all know that won't happen.

That would be a Godsend. Wish it would stall out just north of Sweetwater for a couple of days.

Finally had to mow my yard again. Went down another notch and mowed in clockwise circles from the center.

Hope it dies out. Wife has spent a small fortune on renting a house this weekend for a family event. I don’t want to be cooped up with nine other people for four days.

I'd gladly take a *weakened* tropical system to dump some rain on our place.

yep, could definitely use the rain in central Texas. I am scared what my next water bill is going to be trying to keep the St. Augustine remotely alive.

No doubt. Yet others are hoping for a storm.

Gonzalo is going to be the one to watch. Invest 91L should just be a decent rain maker with little-to-no wind - in my unprofessional opinion.

Mowed in circles. Never got any wind with any of my showers. Can't say the same about fire ants.

I will take the rain like we are getting right now, lot of thunder, slow rain, and a nice cooling off to 83 degrees.

I hope we get at least 4 to 5 inches. Tanks are about drying up.

Fingers crossed - my big tank is down at least 9' at last check, and losing more by the day. In our neck of the woods, we need the tropical moisture to come in around Corpus so we get good rains in the heartland. I don't hope for any damage to those on the coast, but 4 - 5" of rain in central Texas would be most welcome!

I've caught great specks just before and after hurricanes.
