We’re putting together a centerfire steel match nothing over 30 caliber.

Saturday August 8th. 500 yard tournament style shooting match double elimination. starts at 8 a.m. be there at 7:30 for shooters meeting . $30 per person 50% payback. Match will be shot prone or from the bench shooter's choice. We are only taking 16 shooters so let me know if you are coming so I can get a head count .

We will be shooting at three different size targets first is an 8-inch Target for one point next is a 6-inch Target for two points and the last is a 4 inch Target for three points. Object is to score more points then the guy you are shooting against in five shots

Front bipod and rear sandbag only , location in valley view Texas.

what would total round count be?
Is there a "sighter" target?

Last shoot was double elimination I was one of the losers and shot 15 rounds, no sighted target.
Was a fun day we'll be shooting the August match.

Thanks Angus. My rifle could make hits on the 8" without sighters but that might be it. May shoot just to get some trigger time. 15 rounds would be good!!

8" is good show up and compete. Shooting to the south so not much wind to figure out.

Not yet, Buzz, waiting on shipping of components, then loading.....fingers crossed hoping to make the 8th.

You may shoot up to 45 rounds if you go to the losers bracket right away and then win out and beat the winner of the winners bracket twice. The plate sizes are 8 in for one point, 6in for two points in 4 inch for 3 points . You are only allowed five shots per round , you can use one of your shots at the 8 inch plate for a sighter. We will repaint the targets every three shooters so that you can tell where you're impacting them at.
