What little I can see from those pics....I would call him post mature. Full body pics not zoomed in, may change his look. He is mature though for sure with those callused knees, knobby knees, droppy eyes, he appears to have some loose skin, lot of white below his eyes, solid white ears, lot of brisket width/depth, setting down on his front hooves, his hocks are rounded/stained in the summer and his basal circumference is about the same size as the circumference of his eyes. To early to judge score but he has the look of a deer that will score very well as a 6x6.

Like others said, really need more body pics and wait till further in year. Does seem mature though and certainly gonna have a big rack.

I agree post mature and based on the second pic and a little tip a taxidermist gave me he is 6 +. It is not exact of course but has been very close since he told me to count the wrinkles at the ear base. I count 6 maybe 7 on his left ear in pic 2

I agree with post mature based on those pics......he has all the signs........looks like he is one of those bucks that don't fight much and is more conservative, lol..........his ears are in good shape and very few battle scars......

He's an oldie. If you get a little better picture he might look like a barrel on toothpicks. His fur and ears look like he's been around the block more than a few times.

No way to age him with one picture that shows his body and that one is a straight on view.
Score wise is kind of difficult as well being that he appears to have a good ways to go before 'finishing out' as he is still very heavy/blunt on his tines.
Looks to be a 6x7 so that will definitely push him up on the numbers.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I agree, not much to go by in those photos and i always like to see whole non zoomed pictures, but from the one photo you can see some of his body and what appear to be callouses on his knees, he appears to be older than younger and likely mature.

I just purchased the property last year and didn't really get to hunt it a bunch. The previous owner sent me this picture last year and I think its the same deer. I'm new to deer hunting so I need as much help as I can get on aging. I put my card back out but ill try to get more body pics of him. From the post it sounds like he's mature.

If you are new to deer hunting I would think that you would and should try to kill him.

If that deer was on my place I would hunt him starting the first day of archery season till I got a shot at him. He is more than old enough and he is a 6x6...I have never killed a 6x6 in 50+ yrs of hunting. I would throw age out the window for a shot at a 6x6 on my own land.
