Saw this on the local news this morning. Mostly about sugar. Won't changes much for me. Thoughts?

About time. As a diabetic, that information makes a difference in the choices I make.

Its hard to believe we grew up in an era without nutrition labels and the FDA said bread and carbs was healthy and fats were evil.

Whoever came up with the old food pyramid should be tarred & feathered.

Better late than never. With the prominence of processed foods it is imperative to have all the information.

Exactly and look how fat we have gotten as well.

I suspect whomever is at the top of the Food Pyramid are the ones who designed and financially backed it.

I opened my eyes regarding carbs and sugar and don't touch them.

I now make sure I have a good amount of healthy fats in my diet daily, combined with proteins and life is good

Not that this move is bad in any way but the ingredient list has been on products as long as I can remember. If sugar in any form is listed then you should have already figured out added sugars.
