If your a walk in hunter I highly recommend the rigem right refuge runner decoy bag. I've been making a few mods to mine that I wanted to share.

First it has a fairly large gear bag on the side. But I wanted it a tad bigger to fit a 5 gallon stool in to it. I had some 500 cordura left over from another project so started sewing away. Now I can carry alot of gear in the 5 gallon bucket stool that will double as a seat.

Second, it has a shotgun pouch on the other side of the bag with a strap to hold and stabilize your gun half way up the bag. The strap is only long enough to clip if the gun is out of the case. I carry my gun in the case and needed the strap to be longer. I had some 1" strap from another project and made quick work of that. (Not the best pic but if you have the bag you get the idea)

If got at least 1 more mod of not 2 more I'm working on so stay tuned.

Oh and they best part is we are within 60 days of teal season cheers

I plan to get one myself this year. I have the aves pack, and it's great for carrying gear, but no decoys.
We just carry our guns in a gun sock

The bag already has a nice side pocket for a machette, I added the buckle to make it more secure.

I've got one more mod I'm doing to it and then should be ready for the season. Waiting on some more buckles that will hopefully be here by friday.

The buckles came in and my last mod is attaching my tanglefree solo blind to the bag. I think it turned out pretty good.

Nice. I just make use of what I have. I have often used an old high capacity woodland camo GI backpack for decoys and gear. and for a lot of decoys strapped the decoy bag to an Alaskan backpack frame to make it more comfortable to carry long distances. A suggestion on your bucket pouch if not already done, might want to add a drain hole like a brass grommet hole for when your packing it the rain.
