Posting a video I made over the weekend about how I like to practice before deer season kicks off and set up my cameras for self-filming. Please excuse the bad shots - the heat index was like 112 that day. LOL 3D Shooting Video

Cool video, I didn't see any bad shots, that's good shooting in my opinion. I've never thought to practice from my blind or stand before deer season. Good idea!

Irving Bowhunter Association (IBA) had an archery range by Mountain Creek Lake in Dallas off of Spur 408 & Illinois Avenue that had a wooded course withtargets set up in various hunting scenarios. It covered an area that had some difficult terrain and was one of the best experiences I've had shooting a bow outside of hunting. In the 70's I used to go there weekly before deer season with a group of friends and havent been back since so I'm not sure if the course is still there but the IBA is still around. If you give them a shout you can ask if its still around. We had keys to the gate and always had the place to ourselves, all the years we went I don't remember seeing anyone else there.
