My 35yo son and his 19yo girlfriend. Recently. He’s a restaurant manager, she’s on unemployment and making more than he is. He woke up sick, got tested, positive. She got sick a couple days later. Mathew was hurting bad for several days, she was over the ache and fever before he was. Looks like they’re both over it now and resting/gaining strength.

I know five.

Four of them are friends of my son from college. All 20-21 yrs old and very fit. They all had fever and chills for 3-5 days. Lost taste and smell. Back was hurting. Fever has been gone for a week or more in all four. Taste and smell has not returned. They all told my son that if they take a deep breath it feels like they are trying to breath really cold air. All still positive after over a week of fever breaking.

Fifth one is a hunting buddy close to my age. I just found out today that he passed away from covid. He was a good man.

Covid sucks.

I hope it doesn't, but we will probably have a post over the next year "Who has got it twice?".

Curious, what does blood type have to do with the price of a cup of tea in China?

It's been reported that those infected who have blood type A are prone to more serious symptoms.

So you got it several weeks before the first reported case in Texas? scratch

Sounds crazy but it is possible.
I was sick for a total of five weeks, beginning in January. Shortness of breath, fever, night sweats, chills, coughed so hard I pulled a muscle. Doctor could not diagnose it. Chest X-ray said possible pneumonia, Radiologist said "I don't know what it is, but it's NOT pneumonia."

My wife told me later she was afraid I wasn't going to make it.
Was it CV?
Don't know, but it was the sickest this boy has ever been.

Two now for me. One of my customers and his wife died the same week. My age group and no underlying health concerns.

To be determined

He posted this 4/21... he never got tested. A lot of people think they had it, my family included. My wife got tested, game back negative, but that was a blood test and those are not as reliable as the swab.

Wife and I were both a little under the weather after getting back from Vegas around Christmas. We never really get "sick" - but both felt like crap for a couple days. Vegas was jam packed full of Chinese tourists when we went - to the point where it was insane. Wouldn't be surprised if we got it then since all evidence points to it starting to circulate late Oct early Nov.

Anti body test where started hitting streets in March, so be careful discounting to much. Especially February.

I wouldn’t discount anyone’s thoughts from January on.
