I have shot a fair amount of hogs over the years, almost all with either a 5.56 soft point or 22-250 soft point. This hog was shot by my son and an example of perfect shot placement. These shots almost always result in a DRT type anchor. Requires a little bit of patience to get the right sight picture, but when done correctly, this shot placement is deadly. I know some on here already know this, but for those that don’t, this is where you want to make your shots if you want to recover your kill.
