It’s either a 2007 or 8 model. Last weekend I power washed it, was planning on selling it soon... Well it looks better but when I got done it started running sluggish. Motor runs and idles perfect when in neutral. All week I tried running it and same thing, when it hits 20-25 mph it gets sluggish and acts like it’s flooded. It never dies after I let off the throttle. Any ideas what I could’ve jacked up power washing it? Also I did make sure the air filter was dry and the compartment it sets in.

I did run some carb cleaner in the gas this morning for about 30 min. Tonight I tried it and it’s better, if I ease into it it’ll get to 40 mph. Usually it’s 0-50 pretty quick...

Appreciate the Help!!

Was it running fine before the wash?
If so, you probably got water in one of the connectors.

If it was running the same before the wash, check the air filter.
If it is plugged, it will allow enough air thru for low RPM use but go rich at speed due to air starvation.
I see it a lot on machines I work on.

Thank you Sir! Yes it was running just fine prior to wash... If I got water in a connector will it eventually dry out? What’s the best way to help that? Appreciate the advice!
