Very nice, we have a 3038E that is 30 PTO HP. Way more oomph than our old 1978 Ford 1600 had.

 You will soon realize that you need a canopy to shade that summer sun or wished you had bought one with a cab and air... Bees/wasps or dust when shredding will make you appreciate a cab.

The Deere canopies are plastic now. I asked when I saw one, but the salesman knew I'd just tear it off...and he's right. If killer bees get me, rest assured, one of my final thoughts will be that you were right.

If killer bees get me, rest assured, one of my final thoughts will be that you were right. I built a canopy out of plywood and 2x's then attached it to the ROPS bar on one tractor. Another one we had a shop make one out of sheet metal that they formed to make it more ridged. Just make sure if you make one to round or blunt the corners so you don't bust your head on a corner when you are getting up in the seat...don't ask me how I know about that....

You coulda bought mine and saved a bundle. I would seriously consider taking it back and get a cab. I have regretted that decision on many a hot day.

Nice unit. "Wells" makes a good canopy that will fit right on there if you ever feel the need for one.
