Gotta crow a little bit. I have been trying to keep track how far this 18” IWT AR15 platform 6.8SPC will kill pigs DRT. It will do it all day long at 200 yards but my longest to date had been 250 yards. Last night I stretched it to 353 yards. I made a 516 yard shot. I was aiming at middle shoulder. Bullet hit 20" right, at the base of the skull.. I told everyone the truth. "At that distance, i aim for the neck so I either get a clean kill or a clean miss."

I never, under any circumstances, tell anyone what my aim point is/was until the bullet impacts or misses the target. Keeps 'em guessin' and me able to lie about it.

6.8 is my took off choice.
I don’t think there is anywhere I can see 300+ yards on my place.
