Got a text tonight that the highway going up to the ranch we work for is closed due to a wildfire.
Looking at the WYDOT webcam I can see the fire west of the WG&F research facility but can't tell which side of the highway it is on. We're all along one side of the highway.
Grass is short but it's been extremely dry.
We have hot temps forecast next week or so and very little humidity or rain chances.
Might use a few prayers tonight for those fighting it and the livestock that could be affected.
The rocky mountain region could use those prayers for rain, monsoons, coming soon. Hunting seasons can be affected by these fires significantly.

The West is dry at least the part that I saw last week driving up to Central Colorado and dries I've ever seen it. Hope you guys get some rain soon wytex

Tanker made a drop last evening.
We have no real rain prospects til next week.
The fire map shows the fire across the highway but the tanker dropped on the ranch.
