When are the millet guys planting? With a 90 day maturation period, I’d like to have food left for the end of December. But that puts planting in October which is a couple months later than what google recommends. What say ye?

I plant in August and replant at the end of teal season.

This will be my first year planting so take this for what it is. I've been told, on this forum, to plant every 2 weeks starting august 1st. So that is what I plan to do, well see how it works.

I never had any luck the two years I tried. Would love to see your method and how it turns out.

Oh, and I guess if you can time it to plant right before rain even better.

You will need the seed head develop before the first frost. I’ve had a few plots wiped out by planting late and having an early frost

Thanks for the info fellas. Is there much demand for duck blinds on skids out there? I’m thinking of making some side money and can make these. Anyone interested? Metal frame on skids with hog panel on the outside. Can do a flip down door as well.
