Someone yelled that a car was coming and rather than run, one of them was trying to find the car on their cell phone video.

I read two or three articles on this over the weekend and I still don't know who closed the highway. Everyone seems to agree the highway was closed, but some reports said the Police closed the hwy and others say the protesters closed the hwy.

I disagree. He bypassed a police road block, bypassed some more vehicles in the road, hit 2 pedestrians, and took off without rendering aid. At the bare minimum, he should have stopped and rendered aid. $$$$$$$$$

Dawit will end up with a minor conviction. The state will end up paying not only the two shemales but they will also pay Dawit when he sues them for aiding criminals in breaking the law, as he was merely trying to drive down the interstate (disregard all the police avoidance). It was impossible for him to see the two shemales he hit behind the white van parked in the middle of the interstate as he approached and as I'm sure his attorney will point out the second he does see them he is applying the break and trying to swerve to the left to avoid hitting them. As the video shows. The video also shows the second shemale he hit to be moving to the shoulder away from the car then stop and move back to the right to be in front of the on coming car....Maybe Apple or Android should also pay up as there is no warning across the top of the phone screen while recording a video that says objects on screen are closer than they appear. The state will surely have to pay for all the mental anguish they've cause Dawit by not doing their jobs and shutting down these protest 19 days ago.

The media coverage will be minimal, and when they do cover it they'll never mention the race of the driver or the protesters, the story drips with too much irony for their narrative. Why aren't the headlines "BLACK male plows over TWO unarmed WHITE women and flees the scene"? Oh yeah... that would be racist.
