Mine was a 72 Cutlass Supreme with a Rocket 350 engine, Brownish Gold color with a Black vinyl top just like this image. Bought it used in 1974 right after I graduated from high school.

1988 single cab long bed F-150 with a 4 speed auto and a 302 V-8
Ugly as sin, I suspect the previous owner threw rocks at it when he got bored. Did run
Repelled women terribly so I sold it and traded up to a 99” Tacoma that my step dad got tired of making payments on. Number of women who would get in the truck increased substantially
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

'66 red Dodge Coronet in 1970. 6 cyl, 3 speed standard. Overhauled the engine in the back yard, and killed a nice buck while working on it.

I suspect it may have more to do with the driver, rather than the truck.

'64 Chevy pickup with a '72 bed bolted on the back. #2 was a '72 Cutlass. Stub - You sure that's not a '73 in the picture? I'm looking at the trunk "fins". 'Always wanted a '73...or a "goat"...the ORIGINAL "goat", not the "Ram it!" idiots.

First used car....1959 Ford Fairlane 500. Cost $350. It was actually a pretty good car till I got through with it. First new car...1973 Ford Grand Torino, Dark green with yellow to green laser stripe. Cost slightly under 4K. (And my brother totaled it}

1970 El Camino. It had a 3 speed on the column and a 307 with a Rochester Quadrajet 4bbl carburetor that me and my friends put on it at school. That thing would do pretty good in the 1/4 mile but top end was not that great.
