I've always wanted to try all three 'H' buffers and SpringCo springs and thanks to the folks over at Lone Star Armory, they sent a full tuning kit along with the demo rifle that DNS has been using.

I took the liberty of exercising all buffers and springs yesterday - I think I prefer the H2 and Blue Spring, felt nice and smooth.

What do you guys run ?

I think I'm about to splurge and get the JPE Silent setup.

QSYB -

Yeah my head starts to spin when entering the Advanced buffer / spring zone !

The kit I used in this video was simple and straight forward - a little longer here and heavier there...

The next level is JP Silent Capture, KynShot hydraulic, Nemo plunger on rear of BCG, flat wire buffer springs - oh my....

After I settle on one config that doesn’t have reliability issues THEN I mess with the gas block a little.

If I seem to forget about the gas block and find myself adjusting that later, just because, well Murphy usually enters the room and says “If it ain’t broke - don’t adjust it”

My 5.56, 6.5G, .300AAC and 7.62x39 all have H2 buffers installed, as they each have silencers available. My .450BM has an H1 (no silencer).

Which do you prefer? And what spring are you running with the KS?

I haven’t had a chance to shoot the 338 yet. I am using a standard spring with the KYN-shot.
However I do really like the JP a lot. It’s very smooth and quite. Also I run full length rifle tubes with Magpul stocks on everything so far.

JP Enterprises Silent Capture. A little spendy, but worth it in my opinion if you run a suppressor.

H1 and a 40 coil chrome silicone flatwire in all my 5.56, 6.8, 300 HAM'R and .458 SOCOM carbines. Positive feeding, no issues and the spring will last the life of the barrel.

H1 and a mil-spec spring in the Blackout which I rarely shoot, what a useless caliber!
