Got a beer in my hand and the smoker rolling. Smoking a chuck to stuff into some japs for poppers, sausage for dinner. Roger Creager on the radio. Four day weekend started at 5 am today. Headed to the lake tomorrow for the 4th. Whatchall doin this weekend? Shooting sporting clays tomorrow morning. Fishing a private lake Saturday morning. Smoked some pig last Saturday, will be finishing it up. Grilling steaks Saturday night.
Yard is slicked off. Flag is hoisted. I'll probably hoist something cold, gold and bubbly too.

Working, just like every holiday that doesn’t fall on my days off. I'm in the same boat. Got lucky this year with Memorial Day, 4th and Christmas off.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Hudspawn II and her hubby bought a home. Closed on it this day. Hoarder lived there with almost everything still there. A 40 yard roll off being delivered tomorrow AM. Sure someone will go get fried chicken for lunch Yippeee!!!

Heading out before dawn to the ranch and get some work done before heat sets in. Then sit in the camper with cold A/C and disconnect from all this carp. Be a few guys out and probably cook out (with proper social distancing) at dusk. Nice eats by the way.
