I wish I knew how to kick the sugar habit. It is extremely addicting. That's how the fast food industry has captured the young ones. They feed them sugar, salt and fat. All addicting.

Stop drinking soda and sweet tea. Stop eating candy and chocolate, cookies, etc.

After a few days the cravings will cease.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I had to go on low salt diet, per Dr. instructions. I’m still eating sweets. It took several weeks to get used to the low salt diet, over 6 weeks.

I've gone as long as a month. The devil always comes back. Dublin Dr Pepper was my go to. Now they make a "real sugar" Dr Pepper i get. I think it's beet sugar and not cane sugar. I should probably just inject it.

M&Ms or a bowl of ice cream are my weakness.

M&Ms, along with candy bars in general, just taste "processed" to me now, after having giving them up for so long. I still look longingly at the Hostess orange cupcakes from time to time, but I know what I'll feel like afterwards. Brie on crackers with a good wine is my current downfall, but that's on very rare occasions. Gave up sodas years ago. Cookies don't sucker me in anymore.

And yet, the gut is still there. I've made peace with it.

Hard to resist the cookies when the wife starts one of her baking binges.

Salt and fats are good for a person.

Sugar, other forms of sugars like high fructose corn syrup, carbs, and processed foods is what is addicting and bad for anyone.

If you could go on a heavy meat with fat and green leafy diet meal plan your craving for sugar will go away.

I have found eating foods high in fats keep the hunger away after a while.

When you body craves sugar for energy, you get super hunger between meals and irratiable.

Buzz, great time to kick it with the corona thing going on. Throw out all the sweets and don't go to the store to get more.

I found if we don't have it at the house, I won't eat it. Funny how that works.

Mt. Dews are my problem. I've thought a few times about quitting but decided screw it I'll embrace the bad and enjoy drinking what I want.
