If you think those are pricey, just wait until you start filling them and the deer empty them faster than you can keep them full.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Unless you get a very large 'gravity feed" protien feeder with a huge wallet. I'd recommend you sped the money on a timed protein feeder. You can have it dispense once or twice a day to feed the deer, while managing the amount you put out. (You won't have to go fill it every week if they are hitting it hard).

I personally use the All Seasons Timed Protein feeder. I throw it early in the morning and the deer really like it. They will literally clean it out within one hour of it filling the gutters full of protein. Some people may not liked timed protein feeders, but for me, I love them. My wallet loves them more! I can make 600 pounds last me 3 months. (Yeah its not a lot of protein, but they are getting some)
