Considering eventually buying land in this area thanks to the good value, but have little experience with hunting this area of the state. Would like to get on an affordable lease (I know that "affordable" is a relative term) just to see if I could be happy outside south Texas brush country. Would like to be able to bring wife and/or 8 yr old son, but not hunters. Junction, Menard, Ozona, Rocksprings, etc. Would consider being on limited tags (does only or something) to get on a place for the season.

You had me scratching my head. I thought you meant Hill "County" and not Hill "Country". Just to clarify for others.
