I have a 1 year old Lamco Low and Throw. Thing started off slinging corn prob.15 - 2- yards. Now it barely spins and most of the corn doesn't even make it off the varmint proof plate. I've changed battery and the Mr. Timer...same results. Only thing i haven't changed is wires and the motor. Thoughts?

Double thread.
It’s a motor issue, whether that be feed bag string, feed dust build up, or dirt build up. Hell it could be a bad motor.

If there is an Allen screw on your spin plate make sure it’s tight. I had a similar situation with one of my feeders. The motors shaft would spin but the plate barely moved.

If not, it will cause it to barely spin..if that is the issue..simply loosen the allen screw and install a new plate....

They throw very far but weld can break, JB weld is your friend in a pinch.

Also make sure you don't have mixed up 12V and 6V equipment. A 12V motor will spin the holy heck out of a 6V motor. Won't last long and will start spinning within the plate hub and eventually lock up
