I’ve had and abundance of scorpions and spiders in and around the house recently. What could be the increase? I am having someone come spray. The spiders look like either grass or wolf spiders. So far we have killed 9 scorpions

Just had my house sprayed Thursday for them. The guy said that everyone was having problems with them this year. Got to were I have been wearing shoes in the house which is very unusual for me. Got stung once and that was enough.

Wet spring into summer will promote most all the insect varieties. Ant, spiders. Scorpions and TICKS are very abundant this year. They were troublesome last summer as well. I put out granuals and spray with two other products If you're sensitive to pesticides, some folks are using diatomaceous earth.

Increase is due to all the rain. They’ve been pushed out of the areas they’ve been residing in.
That was easy,

I shot a cottonmouth yesterday. Came out the back door to feed Cookie and the snake was in the flowerbed next to the porch.
A .410 bore with 9 shot cut him in two, then when he raised his head I gave him another one.

Fleas !!!! we're having a heck of a time keeping them off of the dogs! Fleas are bad and so are chiggers. I hate 'em both. Already sprayed my yard twice this year. Get some Fenvastar Plus and a hose end sprayer, they will go away.

We have used Diatomaceous Earth for flees on the dogs and the cat with success. Our dogs are both inside and outside. I don't want chemicals on the dogs if I can help it because of the smell. We put the DE in a salt shaker and dusted them right on the top of the neck and rubbed it down. It may take a few days, but it gets rid of them. I think we dusted them a couple of times a week. So far no problem this year with flees.

We don't see many scorpions up here in the black land areas of north Texas. We've lived in this house for nearly 40 years and I've only seen 2 scorpions. Now it's a different case north of us in the sandy river bottom areas.
