What a joke this whole thing is. Back in early January when all this stuff was just being talked about I went to the CDC website and read and they said do not buy or wear a face mask unless you are taking care of a person with COVID. I was about to travel thru China and spend couple month in Asia, I was going to load up on mask. So after reading that I didn't buy alot of masks, only a handful of N95 back when you could get them at a reasonable price.

Few months later CDC now say we need to wear face mask. Then prices of mask skyrocketed.

Seems as if they really have no clue, and just grasping at straws. Mask prices seem to have come down quite a bit, I wonder if wearing them will really make a difference.

I agree with this statement

Mask may protect you some. It also may protect others if you are a carrier. Mask + social distancing.

I haven’t worn a mask or social distanced anymore than I normally do and have been at work every day since this started.

I could see possibly N95 mask or something that actually stops stuff from getting in but these paper thin cotton mask or bandanas people are wearing don’t stop a thing. It doesn’t protect them or anyone else.

So do I, they haven't gotten anything right yet. And Gov. Abbott said when he was opening things up that we would probably see an uptick at some point. I'm totally disgusted with this country right now

I have yet to wear a mask. Right when all this started I went to HD and bought a bunch of N95s because I could forsee all the future ridiculousness happening. Nueces county mask mandate went into effect this morning. Crazy I tell ya.

We have to wear one away from my cube at work.
