I can remember with Apple was well known for providing schools with free computers knowing that if they could get kids familiar with their products, they would be far more likely to buy and use them as adults. It appears at least one gun maker is taking the same approach by manufacturing and promoting what some might call pint-sized rifles that carry the same features and functionality of larger firearms. Most importantly, they continue to make a strong effort in using multiple communication channels to promote their offerings to parents looking to begin teaching their kids how to shoot and shoot safely.

Those smaller rifles are the best thing since sliced bread for kids. They allow them to shoot, but also to hold and mount the rifle correctly which prepares them better for bigger rifles later.

I think we all started out with BB guns. I'm talking about a step between a BB gun and a standard youth size real gun.

Same. Birds taught me how to hunt. That might be the very best way to get kids started.

Looking back though, we wasted a lot of meat! I had no idea english sparrows were good to eat, I only knew they were a pest to be eradicated.
