Anyone have a recommendation on how to transport a trailer blind? No, it’s not DOT approved and I have a 6 hr drive so I won’t tow it down the road. Width is 87” which is what’s causing problems. Only thing I can think of is a deck-over, or flatbed. Anyone done this before? Any suggestions on a service to haul it?

87"??? Is that not legal?? I dont claim to know much about that stuff at all but I know my regular 18' flatbed trailer is right at 8' from fender to fender.

You can be 96” wide and you can get a point to point permit to tow for $5. Tow it.

96" wide towed by a passenger vehicle. typical Car, SUV.

102" wide towed by a pickup through truck/tractor.

87" wide isn't a problem on any road in Tx.

It is legal width. Get some of the magnetic lights, grease the hubs, hook it up and go.

Thank y’all. I guess after looking at them online again (Atascosa brand) they’re more robust than I originally thought. I guess I’ll just hook up to it and keep the speed reasonable.

Another helpful tidbit off the THF! 'May never need one, but there have been times I did. Thanks.

I noticed a Dillon on a trailer in San Angelo and thought about it. The drive to the ranch didn't worry me, but the rocks on the place may tear the crap outa that fiberglass mounted to the trailer.
