I'm with the "masks are generally worthless" crowd. You can find opinions by well respected members of the medical community on both sides of this fence. And many of Fauci's guesses have already been seen to be wrong.

I've accepted the view held by many physicians that unless someone is coughing or sneezing, wearing the typical mask you see everyone wearing does nothing to protect others, and is generally harmful to the mask wearer.

I've accepted that the hazards are (1) physical contact between individuals, (2) hand to surface contact by individuals, and (3) hand to face contact by individuals. I don't wear a mask. But I do carry a small squirt bottle of 91% Isopropyl alcohol and disinfect my hands any time I touch a door or similar surface. I wipe down my cart handle with it. I squirt some on my hands after loading stuff on the checkout counter, etc.

I would prefer cashiers NOT wear masks. They are touching items handled by others. They are touching their own face. They are touching that filthy bacteria and virus impregnated mask frequently. And then they are touching my items.

Keep your hands clean. Touch your face a little as possible. You'll probably be fine, but some of us are going to get sick anyway. It's called life.

Every Doctor and medical facility that I go to requires everyone to wear them. I really do not go anywhere else that I get out of the car except for where I go walk. The walking area is secluded and we rarely see anyone and they are usually a block or two away.

I wear a mask.

Nope....went to a liquor store in New Braunsfels yesterday. Sign on door said can’t come in without a mask. That’s the first I’ve seen in NB. So I went elsewhere and shopped. it’s that simple.

If outside, and can keep distance, I won’t wear one. If inside someplace that’s semi crowded, I’ll wear one.

Most of the time no, including work. Most of what I do is in remote areas. If I need to go into a high risk area or location I wear one with no hard feelings. I had stopped but with the recent uptick, I am back to putting one on when I feel it may be beneficial. My wife and I look after her father who is 88, has a pace maker, and is diabetic. He is a good man. I don’t seek approval or concern myself with disapproval of any THF posters regarding my level of caution. I also put zero stock in what any politicians or network media have to say about it. I have talked to my doctor about it and value his level headed opinion to “just be smart about what you do”.

No mask, cows don't care. Not around many people at this time.
