Miracles still happen. The tree man left me with this and never came back.

Pecan mulch anyone.

My yard has taken a beating in June. Now looking for a load of bank sand and a box blade.

You are a big noticer. It was hollow in the middle.

My stump guy has a 36" stihl for the big ones. It was about 6" short on my last stump. Be sure and get rid of those hardwood shavings. Termites will invade the flower beds if you try to use them.

One shot is all it should take.

Thats the same type of stump grinder that was used on my big oak. The guy drove it up and swept the blade from side to side deeper and deeper until it was gone.

Sure beats having to wrestle with one of the tiller types that I got from the rental place.

Glad you mentioned that. I've got a pickup truck bed full I was going to use to mulch my asparagus plants.

He left me with some well mulched beds.

And this. I wouldn't not even need the sand and box blade except for all the divots in the rest of my yard.

Bill, Your place looks a lot like my sister in-law and mother/father in-laws places in Fulshear. They have/had homes in a gated community with a golf course and canals in a development on the South side of an East to West running road.

Weston Lakes or Enchanted Gardens?

Weston Lakes. Small world.

My sister in-law owns a number of houses there and lives on the edit - NW side in a 2 story house that backs up to a canal. Across the street on the corner is a tan mediteranian (sp?) style house with a big, detached, semi-circular multi-car garage with a fountain in the front.

Fishing is pretty good in those canals. I sit by the pool and catch fat bass when we visit.

This is an old subdivision. Several have been sold. Termite inspections have to be done before closing. None have failed.

I grew up on a cotton farm in Arkansas. We were poor but we had love.
