My sons and I went to Fredericksburg for a Father's Day Axis hunt. Hunt was on a low fence ranch with lots of animals. Besides my trophy one son bagged a nice fat doe. [Linked Image]

Thanks everyone---The hunt was originally scheduled for the weekend after St Patrick's Day, but we all know what happened then. Father's Day weekend just happened to work out and while it was pretty hot in the evenings, it was all worthwhile. Spending time with my adult sons made the hunt even better. I'll post the Shoulder mount when he's done. The taxidermist is 8 months out but supposed to be an outstanding artist.
