I was passing through Georgetown the other morning after the rain subsided. I saw a small boar rooting in a pasture quite close to the road. I did a u-turn to be sure it was a hog. I pulled up and stopped. He seemed to be paying me no attention at first. After about 30 seconds, a fawn, lying down between me and the hog got nervous and jumped up. Then ANOTHER fawn right next to the first one raised his head up. I got my phone out to take a pic, but they were too far away and it was too dark still. When I got out the car to get closer, the hog trotted off, followed closely by the fawns.I looked around, but didn't see mama anywhere. Maybe she got run over or something. But never thought I'd see deer and hogs teaming up to survive. Could that be what was happening?

Mama told the fawns to bed down. She is off foraging. The little hog just happened to be in the area. They rain away in the same direction.

Coincidence.

Yeah, I think you're right DNS. Going in the same direction as the hog was their best bet.

They probably all viewed you as their greatest threat at that moment.
