These two does raise their fawns around the house. The wife calls them up like pets and feeds them white bread in the morning. The old doe has twins and the young one triplets. I took this cell pic from the back porch while drinking my coffee this morning. Is this east Texas? Looks like a target rich environment, althoughI wouldn't hurt my yard pets, I'd darn sure use them to attract 'Grandpa' deer.

Wouldnt happen to be near Mineola? I know a guy there that can't mow his hayfields because the does and fawns are so thick.
That would be something else being able to sit on the porch with a view like that.

Very cool pic. We live on 4 wooded acres near Houston and have lots of deer and fawn. I recently setup a feeder and they are coming closer to the house, but they are still very scared of us. How does your wife call them up to feed them?
