Had lunch there and very disappointed based on the good things I had heard. Best thing on the plate was the potato salad Nothing else I would go back for

Go to Derek Allan's Texas Barbecue on 8th Ave and Rosedale. Best BBQ in Fort Worth. He only uses Kobe beef. It's expensive but it's the best I've ever found in Fort Worth.

Best thing on the plate was the potato salad Nothing else I would go back for That's surprising I've eaten there several times and the meat has been excellent. Their sides aren't that strong IMO. Consistency is key in BBQ especially with how expensive it is these days, you cant afford an off day.

Remember that Harry, the original pit master, died a number of years ago. He came over from Angelo's when Charlie Geren started the Railhead.

That's crazy, I've only been there once and it was unbelievably good. I agree with others Derek Allan's is fantastic, but is pricey since they only use Wagyu beef.

I will stick with Longoria's BBQ in Everman, the use Angus. I've eaten Kobe and wagyu, the taste just doesn't justify the price. No need for the condescension about saving pennies up to eat there. I can afford to eat there, I choose to support Texans and Texas beef. If it ain't raised in Japan and imported here, it ain't true wagyu.

USDA allows for beef imported out of Brazil and other countries to be Labeled made in the USA. If it is Inspected and packaged in USA. US Cattle industry does not like this but it goes on.

Longoria's BBQ in Everman was another disappointment for me. Day I was there brisket was dry and chewy. Will not go back
