I've known quite a few police officers. All of them were good men that really cared about the community. They would help families out in many ways, sometimes buying groceries out of their own pockets. Helping single mothers and folks down on their luck. I don't see how you could do the job unless you cared about people.
I back the blue.

Therr will still be first responders for the same reason we have first responders now.
Just my view. Being a first responder is not just thier job, it is who they are.
If thier presence changes the atmosphere, it probaly because they are the center of attention. Sooner or later, someone will debate a law, a policy, ask for advice or want hear a blood and guts story.
I expect there a number ai folks think I ride a high horse. Unless their home is 95 degrees or condensate is running through thier ceiling.
If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
