How many of you are running these cameras and who has done the new software update? With the 8.0 version we can remotely change settings.

I've got it on mine -- seems to work just fine. I have 4 J's, 3 G's, and one dual cell home deployed. Got one more G that went on the fritz and is going back to get fixed under warranty.

One fair warning if you haven't already, get the DPB (Dual Power Bank) kits. These things are battery hogs like no other.

I added a 12 volt feeder battery, so I hope batteries are not an issue. Scheels sells a battery to cudde camera power cord.

I have had nothing but issues with the ones we used. Not sending pictures with full signal, then too many pictures backing up, then all of a sudden lose signal. Its bee a nightmare with them, so I just took them all down.

Anyone tell me how long it lasts with a 12 volt? They are nice cameras, but they do DRAIN batteries in a lightning quick speed if you set them to transmit. That being the point of them and all..... SO... how long before you need to charge or replace your 12 volt??
