My first thought was Fallow, but his head gear hes is growing looks awfully similar to the Axis'. The color phase matches up to the Axis as well (darker on top lighter at the belly), just darker and no spots.

Melanistic Axis? Is that a thing?

I was thinking melanistic as well. He's side by side with that axis in all 20ish photos. confused2
