My hunting lease is on a goat farm, so all of my feeders are set up with fences that deer can easily jump but goats can't (or won't).
I've been trying to figure out a way to use these feeders for hogs during the off-season while keeping the goats out - especially because the big ones have learned that ramming a feeder is a good way to shake more corn out (the main reason I started fencing feeders).
I tried cutting a small rectangle about 16" off the ground hoping that pigs can squeeze in while goats couldn't, but the goats discovered it in no time and I was back at square one.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I have goats. As stupid as they are they don't miss even the smallest opportunity. Like you said they don't jump but they will crawl through a tiny space. They will go through any space a pig can go through.
Past performance is the best predictor of future behavior.

Yeah, they are sort of like guys in prison. They have nothing but time to figure out how to exploit the perimeter.
