I’d have to assume some birds flying close to the camera.

I thought it might be a bird, or birds, as well, but there are 4 "objects' on the left and 2 or 3 "objects" on the right flying in circles. Had to be moving pretty fast.

Never mind the slinky (best answer, I think), what are you using on the t-posts to hold that feeder up? And, 'coons, not to mention pigs, don't play unholy hell on that thing? I like the set up very much, 'just don't see how it won't be torn to shreds by the varmints.

My WAG will be that it is a bird that has landed or taking off from the top of the trail cam. The camera is moving as the bird is leaving or landing from the camera. What you are seeing is the ends of the wing tips. I have seen it on my TC pics before...those birds will leave little piles of evidence on top of the TC's also.

I welded some 1 inch tube steel into a horizontal bar with 2 vertical legs. Attached them with ring clamps. Have not seen any hogs around here, thankful for that. And I haven't seen any other varmints.

I agree with birds. When things get too close for the camera to focus and they are moving fast it can look really weird. I get images of bugs at night that look like flying corkscrews all the time.

It may not be state of the art, but it works and was the best I could do at the time. Cost me about $75 including the timer. Sorry it does not meet with your approval.
