Just ordered a 708 in a savage 110 high country and i have a dilemma on the scope choice , i have it narrowed down to ...
NX8 4-32x50 F1
Zeiss Conquest V6 5-30x50

I have a NX8 2.5x20 on a 68 already and i know what to expect but i was kind of think SFP for this hunting setup but cant very many reviews on the V6 . This will be a dedicated hunting rig out to about 400-600 yards but mostly 2-300 . So anyone with both or at least the V6 can give me some feed back i would appreciate it.

I have that NX8, and I would highly suggest going with that!

SFP at 30X? Really? It would be culled immediately for me.

Zeiss makes nice glass.

Night Force makes nice glass, tough scopes, properly tracking turrets, nice reticles, and return to zero.

I've proven the reliability of NF. And I've proven the un-reliability of Zeiss at least on my range.

Yep I have some fields that are around 1000’ yards and like to look at the bucks on the other end of the field sometimes. Have you ran any of the nx8 ? The one I have is good I really like it almost as good as my old nxs , almost want to put another on but want a light rig.

30X available is all good. Being SFP, you're married to which magnification for your reticle to be correct? Where does the scope subtend?

NX8 yes, I have shot with it, and love it!
